When trying to open the audit you may notice that you do not have the option to do this as shown below:
The relevant permission for this is found within [Admin] > [Permissions] > select [Audit] from the drop down menu.
Look for the permission [Open Audts] and set this to [Grant]
In some occasions you may find this does not work and you still cannot open an Audit.
This behavior is because the system is not reading the new permissions properly or is reading the permissions from old cached data.
Method 1 Restart application:
Save all of your work to ensure you do not lose any data. Close down the application and reopen the application to allow the new permissions to take effect if they have not done so in the first instance.
Method 2 Clear Local Cache:
Save all work to ensure that you do not lose anything.
Open your windows file explorer and type in %localappdata% as shown below:
Navigate to: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Vision\
There will be a folder named something similar to PentanaPRD.
Rename this to PentanaPRD_OLD
Note: We avoid deleting the local cache as it stores custom views, To apply this to the new cache we can move the views from one folder to another.
Then restart the application. You will notice a new folder will appear with a refreshed cache in this directory.
If you could not open the audit prior to these steps you should now be able to open it successfully.
